Every story has a beginning
In November 2013, the big adventure began for Matthis Lapaire. It started very small in a shed, where there was no water, for example. The company was also inaccessible after 5.30pm. Nevertheless, Matthis spent many nights there. He climbed over the barbed wire and worked on his customers' cars to perfection. For instance, he transported many litres of water to his business location, in the back of the boot of his car. The business grew. He changed locations a few times and hired his first people, who he taught to work with the same precision as his own. Two things have never changed over the years; Matthis' love for his craft and Lapaire Autospa's goal: to surprise customers by giving their car a look, far beyond their expectations.
Partnership
When Robert Westerman entered Matthis' small workshop as a client in 2018, he was immediately struck by his work ethic and the attention to detail and care that went with it.
A beautiful friendship was born, after which they also found each other on a business level. They have now been running Lapaire Autospa together since 2021. Each from their own background and expertise. For Robert, the ultimate combination of his love of cars and the entrepreneurship he was brought up on.
