Porsche 911 - 1965

Great-grandfather

“356 - 901 - 911”

When the successor to the 356 was presented in 1963, the type designation was '901'. However, it did not take long until a certain French car brand protested the use of the '0' in the type designation. So after 82 units it became 911 and in 1965 the first full year of production was run.

Porsche 911 in “Silber Metallic”

March 4, 1965 the 562'ste Porsche 911 rolled off the assembly line. Less than 2 weeks later (March 16) the car was delivered to the 1st owner from Amsterdam by Pon's Holland. In 1967, it was already stamped for 100,000km. By today's standards, that's already a lot of miles per year, let alone the 60's! Unfortunately, this beauty fell into oblivion in the late 1980s and was not in the best shape when the current owner began restoration in 2016.

The car was stripped down to the bare chassis, sandblasted and from there completely rebuilt with as many original parts as possible (reconditioned or new-old-stock). A process of several years and countless man-hours but the result is impressive. An amazing restoration in which we took care of the guidance and finally applied the finishing touches. The original color scheme of silver metallic with a special 356-blue interior, back on her 1st registration (FN-91-52).
